Testimonies

One of the most impactful parts of prayer is when we hear testimonies of God's faithfulness. We have heard several over the years that humbled us. They showed us we may be praying, and though at times we are unsure of the impact they will have, God is faithful and His ways are are higher than ours. One moment you're praying what felt like a simple prayer for someone you may not know and a few months later you're hearing how God moved powerfully in their life.

If you have a testimony of God's faithfulness in your life that you can track back to being gifted a journal or your time spent using a journal, we would love to hear it! Remember it has nothing to do with the journal itself. It is the Lord and He is our Yahweh-Rophe (The Lord who heals).

Yvonne's Story

I wanted to reach out to let you know I LOVE my journals. For years I picked up random mass produced journals and never really used them. Maybe I started and then dropped it for another one or never picked it up. When I saw your journals at the street festival in Maryville I fell in love with them. They had just the right mix of workmanship and beauty that made it a classic journal to use and carry around. My goal for my first journal was to have it with me whenever I was in a place of prayer. At least once a week it journeys with me to our adoration chapel where I spend an hour in prayer and allow the Holy Spirit to speak words into my journal. For a year I have been journaling prayers and I still have lots of pages to fill. It carries my heart within its pages. When I look back through pages I am grateful for the gift of having a place to pour my heart into, a place to doodle names of people I’m praying for and for the Holy Spirit to guide my hand with His words.
This past Christmas I gifted your custom journals to a ton of people and they just love them. My 7 year old grandson uses a mini one for his art work. My friends use them to journal. I’m always thinking “who can I give a Sparrows & Glory journal to?” Thanks for using your gift to make such beautiful journals.
